Direct answers on thickness, durability, surfaces, options, pricing, artwork, and production.
Yes — a hole or lanyard punch can be added, so the pass goes straight onto a lanyard, a clip, or a badge reel. It is worth deciding early, because where the hole sits affects the artwork: anything important needs to stay clear of the punch and of the area a clip will cover.
Yes. Sequential numbering gives each pass a unique number, and variable data can print names, roles, or anything else that changes from pass to pass, from a list you supply. Combined with a barcode or QR code, that is what lets you scan people in at the door and know exactly which pass came through.
Yes — barcodes and QR codes print directly on the pass, and a magnetic stripe is available if your system swipes rather than scans. Tell us what you will be scanning with before production so we can confirm the format and the placement work for your readers.
Surface is the fastest lever. The same artwork on a silk — smooth matte — surface reads noticeably more premium than on gloss, and it is the surface where foil and spot UV — raised gloss on chosen areas — look their best. Pearlescent in silver or gold is the other option when you want the tier to be obvious from across a room. General admission on gloss and VIP on silk is the usual split.
Gloss for a standard high-shine pass, silk for a smooth matte surface, frosted for a translucent look, and pearlescent in silver or gold. A lighter 12mil stock is available for large single-day events where the pass is disposable. Each is priced openly on this page.
The minimum is 250, at the standard credit-card size of 3.375" x 2.125" — the size that fits a badge holder and a wallet. Standard production is 12 working days after artwork approval; events have fixed dates, so tell us yours at order time and we will confirm the schedule before production starts.
